Graduation day for my DMA, May 13, 2016.
Greg Anderson was our guest speaker at USC's MTNA Chapter social for 2015. Here's why this was very exciting for me: One of his first videos on YouTube was of him performing a Ligeti étude "L'escalier du diable." I loved the piece so much that I had to learn it. Performing that piece helped me through a few competitions, and it got me into grad school, twice! A big thank you, to Greg Anderson.
The Philharmonic Society of Orange County asked me to play a brand new Steinway, providing music for Lang Lang's reception. I was petrified, but was happy and honored to do it.
I got a quick picture in with KUSC's Rich Caparella, after performing with the Helix Collective's Sarah Robinson and Phil Popham at Plazacast at the Orange County Performing Arts Center! I was so honored when he showered us with compliments.
A recording session with the Helix Collective.
Michael Krikorian and I tackle a furious piano duo by William Bolcom on my Chamber Music Recital.
Antoinette Perry, myself, and former teacher Craig Richey, after my lecture recital on Samuel Barber.
I was treated to a very A-List dressing room in Carnegie Hall, performing the 3rd movement of the Edward Gregson Piano Concerto with Wind Band.
Saxophonist John Hallberg and myself, after competing at MTNA in Las Cruces, NM, January 2014.
Serving as the guest piano soloist, for the Cerritos High School Wind Symphony, on their trip to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
